As African Coaches Connect (ACC), we are thrilled to see African footballers excelling on the global stage. Nigerian striker Victor Boniface’s match-winning goal for Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday was a testament to his skill and dedication.
However, our joy was short-lived as news emerged that Victor was involved in a serious car accident just hours after his triumphant performance. Our hearts sank as we learned of the crash, and we immediately sent prayers and well wishes for his safety.
Thankfully, Victor emerged from the accident without life-threatening injuries. We are relieved and grateful that he is stable and on the path to recovery.
This close call serves as a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment. As ACC, we are committed to supporting Victor and all African footballers, both on and off the pitch.
