African Coaches Connect Mourns the Loss of Two Legendary African Coaches and Greats.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Nigerian / African football icons Christian Chukwu and Charles Bassey, who left an indelible mark on the sport.
Christian Chukwu, captain of the 1980 Nigerian Africa Cup of Nations-winning team, was a legendary figure in Nigerian football. Charles Bassey, a member of the same squad, was an accomplished player and coach.
