The Board, Management, Elder’s council and Members of the African Coaches Connect (ACC) have congratulated Hon. BOMA IYAYE on his recent appointment as the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Nigeria Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
The African Coaches Connect described Hon. BOMA IYAYE as a public office holder who is well-deserving of his latest appointment given his track record and stewardship in previous appointments.
The Founder and President of ACC, Eldred Sunju-Abbey who served seven years under him, whom he referred to as a Khan of Bosses, a father, a mentor, a friend and brother, a true GOD’s Favored Son and a Blessing to the Human race. Eldred served as the Director of Football at both Rivers United FC, Rivers Angels FC, and the Director of Coaching and Project (Technical) Coordinator of the Real Madrid Academy, recalled the great feats that the Rivers-born and alpine Chief (Tyger)achieved as the Commissioner for Sports in Rivers State over two spells. One of the major highlights of BOMA Iyaye’s reign as a sports commissioner was when Rivers State hosted and won the National Sports Festival in 2011, tagged the Garden City Games and the berth of the Rivers State Real Madrid Academy.
Eldred Sunju-Abbey said with Boma Iyaye’s appointment, the intervention agency is about to witness a new lease of life and credible developmental strides. He added that with the former lawmaker in top management position, sports and other spheres of life are about to receive a major boost in the NDDC states.
Also, the executive director, business strategy and communication, African Coaches Connect, Mr. Gbenga James expressed great optimism in Boma Iyaye’s capacity to make great impact in his new office. The media executive stated that Iyaye’s renowned commitment to excellence and splendid public service can only mean that the Ogu-Bolo born seasoned administrator will deliver on the mandate of his new office.
ACC’s Director of Legal and Advocacy, Barr. (Mrs) Nembere Ethel Ibiboba, who equally worked under him also dropped this solemnization, “six years as the Legal Officer for Rivers United FC. You are an exceptional individual who has not only been a remarkable leader but has also had a profound impact on my career journey. Your unwavering passion, kindness and strong goal-oriented focus has been nothing short of inspiring. Thank you for being a mentor, a motivator, and a game-changer. Given your track record of success, dedication and expertise, I am confident that you will step into this role and take the organization to new height, that you will navigate this responsibility with finesse and deliver outstanding results.
